It’s the 14th of February (yep, it is in Australia), which means…
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
Seeing as V-day is a time for lovers and romance all over the world, the Divas would like to celebrate. (Er, hello? We live for romance! Of course we wanna celebrate.)
And what better way to celebrate than with books? Even better…
ROMANCE BOOKS!
Lexxie, Sami, Rhian and I are each giving away an ebook.
Rhian, has (appropriately) volunteered to give away a copy of her book, Valentine’s Dates, while the rest of the Divas are offering you an ebook of choice from our backlists.
So, how do you participate in the love?
It’s easy. Just tell us your most romantic (real-life) story…ever. Nope, it doesn’t have to be about Valentine’s Day. It doesn’t even have to be about you. Maybe it’s your sister or BFF who experienced it. But we wanna share in the romance and magic of falling love.
Post your story in the comments, and in a few days time we’ll pick four winners, each of whom will win a book.
GOOD LUCK.
And more importantly, have a wonderfully, happy, romantic day.
Jess

Purrrrfect timing!!
My hubby and I just had our 8 year wedding anniversary yesterday (12 years together total) and he reminded me that he can still be a sweetie. I worked from home and he brought me a balloon and card at lunch (I don’t like flowers cause I kill them right away). He also brought me a thing of cream cheese frosting (I had just said I wanted some a few days before) and he brought me a Hapy meal toy from McDonald’s-it’s Hello Kitty reading a book!!! Seriously I didn’t think I could love Hello Kitty more. They may be little things but they meant a lot to me.

Happy Valetine’s Day Divas! Well I’m in my mid-thirties and no longer get a kick out of Feb 14, but back in HS and college it was The day for romance. I was treated to a play, fancy dinner, private dessert, and whirlpool sex! One of the best nights I’ve ever had

When I was 17 I went to a Youth Camp. One morning in the middle of breakfast my first boyfriend & 2 of his mates serenaded me in front of the entire canteen room with ‘You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling’ ala Top Gun.

One year the Mister did not give me a dozen red roses. He gave me a dozen red rose bushes. A bloomin’ great gift that continues to give me great joy.

Oh, yeah, Mary. Talk about a gift that keeps giving.

Hello Gals,
Well the only story I have is two years ago Denny took part of our tax return and bought me something I had said I wanted for , oh , about 19 years. A diamond ring with a heart shaped diamond. Well the NEX on base was having a sale and boy did he get a good deal. He got me a ring with 5 heart shaped diamonds in it. He said it was going to be our 20th in June so there was one diamond for each 5 years.

I think one of the most romantic things that I ever saw was one time when my grandmother went to another state to help my cousin who had just had another baby. By this time my grandparents had been married for over 45 years. My poor grandfather was just lost without her. He looked like he had lost his best friend. When my grandmother returned, he was the happiest man in the world. A few years later, they renewed their marriage vows for their 50th anniversary, surrounded by their 11children, in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other friends and family.
